As soon as you create a document on Bounsel it will automatically be saved to the platform. You'll be able to access it at anytime from the main page under Documents. You will even be able to edit the contract after it has been sent for approval. Only once signed, is the document finalized.
Let's get to know the Bounsel Editor!
To open the workspace, select a document from the repository or start one from scratch.
The top toolbar is fairly familiar. You have access to all the documents content and format settings. These are all your text formatting tools that you’ll be able to use when editing a document.
The first icon to the left allows you to add special sections to the document: either a table, an image or a signature block.
The 4 icons to the right in the top toolbar concern the sharing and overall settings of your doc. The gear wheel icon allows you to open a panel of "Options".
You can duplicate the document, which means you'll create an exact copy of the one you're working on (you'll be able to find it in the Documents repository). You can also save the document as a template by clicking on "Create template". And in case you want to download the document, you can do so either in PDF or Docx (Microsoft Word).
If you select "More settings" you'll be able to choose the language you want to be working in.
The side toolbar is all about managing your document. You can add and use smart fields if you’re building a template, add parties and signatories, request approvals, make comments and chat with your team, check all the information about the document, attach other documents or files and write all your private notes.
Bounsel offers an all-in-one cloud solution to your contract managing problems. What are you waiting for? Start using it now!
