Tags are a useful tool to group your documents and always keep them organized and easily accessible. When creating a document from scratch on Bounsel, you will be asked to enter tags in order to identify your doc quickly. If you want to use more than one tag, use commas (,) to create different ones. Adding tags is optional, but give it a try!
If you don't want to add tags right now, just click "Next". Don't worry, you can add or edit the tags of a document at any later time.
In fact, editing the tags is easy. If you have the contract open go to "Overview" in the top right corner. You'll find the tags field in the top left corner.
You can either delete and edit the ones you already have or add completely new ones. To add more than one tag use commas (,) between them or simply press enter after each one. You can add max 5 tags per document.
You can access the tags from your company's menu, by clicking on "Tags".
This will open your tags page, where you'll be able to see and manage all your tags easily. The number on the right indicates how many contracts you have associated with a particular tag.
From here, you can create new tags that you'll later be able to associate to documents by writing in the "Write a tag name" bar and clicking the "+" button; delete tags you're no longer using by clicking on the red trash can (deleting a tag does NOT delete the documents with that tag) or edit tags that you already have by clicking on their name.
Tags Colors ONLY AVAILABLE FORPREMIUM PLAN
If you have the Premium plan, give each tag a color to recognize it more easily, by clicking on the downward triangle on the left of the tag name and choosing from a variety of colors.
