Working with a team can often result in misunderstandings and confusion. But with Bounsel you can share a document directly with your team and work on it together in real-time.
In the Bounsel Editor, click on the “Share document” icon in the top right corner.
Add the people you want to share the document with and assign them their roles.
If they’re internal members of your company on the Bounsel platform, they can either be Owner, Editor, Commenter or Viewer. If you want to share the document with someone who is external to your company, they’ll only be able to comment or view it.
Did you know you can also add comments to your documents?
Click on the “Comments” icon in the sidebar and you’ll be able to comment on the document by selecting the blue "Add comment" icon.
In the pop-up that appears, you can type in your comment and decide to assign it to a specific member of your team who is in charge of solving a particular issue, as well as set a deadline.
By doing so, you’ll open a chat with that co-worker and you’ll be able to communicate to reach a solution together. Once the comment is resolved, select the “Resolved” icon and the comment will disappear.
No worries! You'll still be able to access the history of all the old comments, even the resolved ones, by clicking on the "All comments" button and choosing the kind of comments you want to review.
